Day 21: POP go the BAG balloons!

I had the pleasure of starting my morning off by working with a group of grade six and seven students from George Street Middle School today. We talked about the importance of visual literacy, and also learned a bit about Andy Warhol.

They are each fantastic artists, check out the cool portraits we worked on together!

Wow Gang!!

We sure need art for a lot of things in our lives.  Thank you for all of these great reminders!

Keep your eyes and ears open. There may be a stage #2 to this project..

This is my last day here at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery as Artist in Residence. It has been such a privilege to get to meet and talk with so many of you. Thank you for all of the time you have shared with me over the last five weeks – and WATCH OUT you never know where we’ll meet next!! (*wink*)
